Poems / writing

war

how dare you destroy

the wherewithal of an arrogant boy

whose character and convenience to joy

are apparent

and easier than you’d ever think to employ.

how dare you destroy

curtains of many fervent deploys

certain to circumvent all the American noise

that you disguise

and replace with a surrogate ploy.

this message lives forever and it’s too great to ignore.
