I really like mescal. It’s smoky and strong. If you like a peaty scotch you’ll love mescal straight. This cocktail will ease you into the distinct flavor of mescal. Try it at the beginning of your meal. The refreshing bitter flavors will excite your palate and prepare you for your meal.
1 1/2 oz. Wild Shot Mescal
1/2 oz. Aperol
2 oz. Fresh grapefruit juice
2 dashes of Aromatic bitters
Build in mixing glass. Shake well with ice. Pour over fresh ice in rocks glass. Garnish with Grapefruit peel.
